Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to ensure a clean, even burn and to prevent soot buildup.
When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface, typically 2-4 hours. This prevents tunneling and ensures the maximum burn time of your candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Place candles on heat-resistant surfaces.
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame if it becomes too high or flickers excessively. Let it cool, trim the wick, and then relight.
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Avoid using the lid or blowing directly onto the flame to prevent hot wax splatter.
Once the candle has burned down, you can clean out the remaining wax and reuse the container for various purposes.
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration and preserve the fragrance.
Do not touch or move a burning candle or one that has just been extinguished, as the container and wax may still be hot.
The scent throw of a candle may vary based on factors like room size, ventilation, and personal preference. Experiment with different locations to find the best scent intensity for your space.
Stop using the candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning a candle with little wax left can cause the container to overheat and potentially crack.
